अध्याय १४९ — हनूमतो महद्रूपदर्शनं तथा धर्म-नीति-उपदेशः
Hanūmān’s Vast Form and Instruction on Dharma–Statecraft
ततः प्रवृत्ति: सीताया गृप्रेण सुमहात्मना । सम्पातिना समाख्याता रावणस्य निवेशने,तदनन्तर गृध्रजातीय महाबुद्धिमान् सम्पातिने सीताजीके सम्बन्धमें यह समाचार दिया कि वे रावणके नगरमें विद्यमान हैं
tataḥ pravṛttiḥ sītāyā gṛdhreṇa sumahātmanā | sampātinā samākhyātā rāvaṇasya niveśane ||
Kemudian burung hering yang berhati besar, Sampāti, menyampaikan khabar tentang Sītā: bahawa baginda berada di kediaman Rāvaṇa. Dalam bingkai moral kisah ini, saat itu memperlihatkan bagaimana kesaksian yang benar dan bantuan penuh belas menjadi alat dharma, menuntun yang benar menuju penyelamatan insan yang tidak bersalah.
