Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः
इन्द्राशनिसमस्पर्श वज़संहननं दृढम् | संहत्य भीमसेनाय व्याक्षिपत् सहसा करम्,क्रोधमें भरे हुए उस बलवान राक्षसने बड़े वेगसे निकट जाकर अपने हाथसे भीमसेनका हाथ पकड़ लिया। भीमसेनके हाथका स्पर्श इन्द्रके वज्रके समान था। उनका शरीर भी वैसा ही सुदृढ़ था। राक्षसने भीमसेनसे भिड़कर उनके हाथको सहसा झटक दिया
indrāśani-samasparśa vajra-saṃhananaṃ dṛḍham | saṃhatya bhīmasenāya vyākṣipat sahasā karam ||
Rākṣasa itu berkata: “Mendekati Bhīmasena, dia tiba-tiba menyambar dan memulas lengannya dengan kekuatan. Sentuhan Bhīma bagaikan halilintar Indra, dan tubuhnya keras serta tidak mengalah seperti vajra. Namun rākṣasa yang berang dan perkasa itu tetap bergelut dengannya, lalu dalam bahang pertempuran merentap lengannya dengan ganas.”
