मैत्रेयागमनम् — The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana
ह्ृतराज्यो वने वासं वस्तुं कृतमतिस्ततः । वनमभ्यागतो घोरमिदं तव परिग्रहम्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--मैं पाण्डुपुत्र युधिष्ठिर हूँ। सम्भव है, मेरा नाम तुम्हारे कानोंमें भी पड़ा हो। इस समय मेरा राज्य शत्रुओंने जूएमें हरण कर लिया है। अतः मैं भीमसेन, अर्जुन आदि सब भाइयोंके साथ वनमें रहनेका निश्चय करके तुम्हारे निवासस्थान इस घोर काम्यकवनमें आया हूँ
hṛtarājyo vane vāsaṃ vastuṃ kṛtamatistataḥ | vanamabhyāgato ghoraṃ idaṃ tava parigraham ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Setelah kehilangan kerajaanku, aku telah bertekad untuk tinggal di rimba. Maka aku datang ke rimba yang menggerunkan ini—wilayah di bawah jagaanmu—memohon tempat berteduh dalam buangan.”
