Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

महिमानं तु कृष्णस्य भूय एवाभिवर्धयन्‌ । सुघोष: पतगेन्द्रेण ध्वजेन युयुजे रथ:,इस प्रकार वह रथ श्रीकृष्णकी महत्ताकों और अधिक बढ़ाता हुआ गरुड़चिह्वित ध्वजसे संयुक्त हो बड़ी शोभा पा रहा था। चलते समय उसके पहियोंसे गम्भीर ध्वनि होती थी

mahimānaṃ tu kṛṣṇasya bhūya evābhivardhayan | sughoṣaḥ patagendreṇa dhvajena yuyuje rathaḥ |

Menambah lagi kemuliaan Kṛṣṇa, kereta itu—bernama Sughoṣa—bersinar dengan panji yang memaparkan lambang Garuḍa, raja segala burung. Ketika bergerak, roda-rodanya mengaum dengan bunyi yang dalam dan berat, seakan mengisytiharkan kekuatan dan tujuan di tengah persiapan menuju perang.
