Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७

ततः शयाने गोविन्दे प्रविवेश सुयोधन: । उच्छीर्षतश्न॒ कृष्णस्य निषसाद वरासने,श्रीकृष्णके शयनकालमें पहले दुर्योधनने उनके भवनमें प्रवेश किया और उनके सिरहानेकी ओर रखे हुए एक श्रेष्ठ सिंहासनपर बैठ गया

tataḥ śayāne govinde praviveśa suyodhanaḥ | ucchīrṣataḥ kṛṣṇasya niṣasāda varāsane ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Kemudian, ketika Govinda (Kṛṣṇa) sedang berbaring, Suyodhana (Duryodhana) masuk. Dia duduk di atas singgahsana yang sangat mulia, diletakkan dekat kepala Kṛṣṇa, menempatkan dirinya seolah-olah berhak mendahului dan meraih keuntungan—tanda lahiriah kesombongan dan perhitungan politik, bukan kerendahan hati di hadapan kebajikan.
