Chapter 49: Sañjaya’s Enumeration of the Pāṇḍava Coalition (पाण्डवसैन्यसमागम-वर्णनम्)
यः संश्रय: पाण्डवानां देवानामिव वासव: । तेन वो वासुदेवेन पाण्डवा अभ्ययुञज्जत,जैसे इन्द्र देवताओंके आश्रयदाता हैं, उसी प्रकार जो पाण्डवोंको शरण देनेवाले हैं, उन भगवान् वासुदेवके साथ पाण्डवोंने आपपर आक्रमण करनेकी तैयारी की है
yaḥ saṁśrayaḥ pāṇḍavānāṁ devānām iva vāsavaḥ | tena vo vāsudevena pāṇḍavā abhyayuñjata ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Seperti Vāsava (Indra) menjadi tempat berlindung dan sokongan para dewa, demikianlah Vāsudeva menjadi naungan para Pāṇḍava. Dengan Vāsudeva di sisi mereka, para Pāṇḍava telah bersiap mara menentang kamu—siap untuk menyerang.”
