धर्ममाचरतो राज्ञ: सद्धिश्नरितमादित: । वसुधा वसुसम्पूर्णा वर्धते भूतिवर्धिनी,परम्परासे सज्जन पुरुषोंद्वारा किये हुए धर्मका आचरण करनेवाले राजाके राज्यकी पृथ्वी धन-धान्यसे पूर्ण होकर उन्नतिको प्राप्त होती है और उसके ऐश्वर्यको बढ़ाती है

Transliteration

dharmam ācarato rājñaḥ saddhiṣṇaritam āditaḥ | vasudhā vasusampūrṇā vardhate bhūtivardhinī ||

Translation

Vidura berkata: Apabila raja mengamalkan dharma—mengikuti sejak awal tata laku yang kukuh dan dipelihara oleh orang-orang berbudi—maka bumi dalam kerajaannya akan dipenuhi harta dan hasil bijirin. Kerajaan itu terus makmur, dan tuah serta kedaulatan raja semakin teguh.
