Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)

स्थूणस्तु शापं सम्प्राप्य तत्रैव न्‍्यवसत्‌ तदा । समये चागमत्‌ तूर्ण शिखण्डी तं क्षपाचरम्‌,उस समय कुबेरका शाप पाकर स्थूणाकर्ण वहीं रहने लगा। शिखण्डी पूर्वनिश्चित समयपर उस निशाचर स्थूणाकर्णके पास तुरंत आ गया

sthūṇas tu śāpaṃ samprāpya tatraiva nyavasat tadā | samaye cāgamat tūrṇaṃ śikhaṇḍī taṃ kṣapācaram ||

Sthūṇākarṇa, setelah menerima kutukan itu, tinggal di situ juga pada waktu itu. Kemudian, pada saat yang telah ditetapkan, Śikhaṇḍī segera datang menemui makhluk pengembara malam itu.
