कुरुक्षेत्रे सेनानिवेशवृत्तान्तः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra Questions Saṃjaya on the Deployed Armies
भवितायं महारौद्रो दारुण: पुरुषक्षय: । दिष्टमेतद् ध्रुवं मन्ये न शक््यमतिवर्तितुम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhavitāyaṃ mahāraudro dāruṇaḥ puruṣakṣayaḥ | diṣṭam etad dhruvaṃ manye na śakyam ativartitum ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Tampaknya pasti akan terjadi suatu pembunuhan manusia yang amat dahsyat dan kejam. Aku menganggapnya sebagai ketetapan takdir yang telah terpancang; kini tidak mungkin lagi dielakkan.”
