श्रुतं भवद्धिर्यद् वृत्त सभायां कुरुसंसदि । केशवस्यापि यद् वाक््यं तत् सर्वमवधारितम्,“कौरवसभामें जो कुछ हुआ है वह सब वृत्तान्त तुमलोगोंने सुन लिया। फिर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने भी जो बात कही है, उसे भी अच्छी तरह समझ लिया होगा
śrutaṃ bhavadbhir yad vṛttaṃ sabhāyāṃ kurusaṃsadi | keśavasyāpi yad vākyaṃ tat sarvam avadhāritam ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Kamu semua telah mendengar sepenuhnya apa yang berlaku di balairung perhimpunan, di istana kaum Kuru; dan setiap patah kata yang diucapkan oleh Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) di sana pun telah kamu fahami dengan jelas.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Mere hearing is not enough: the verse stresses avadhāraṇa—clear comprehension and internalization of counsel. In a dharma-crisis, understanding what occurred and what wise counsel advised becomes the ethical basis for subsequent decisions.
Vaiśampāyana, as narrator, signals that the audience has already been told the events in the Kuru assembly and has understood Kṛṣṇa’s words there. This functions as a transition marker, preparing the listener for the next development after the court episode.
