Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 13: Śacī’s Delay, Deva-Counsel, and Indra’s Purification

पुण्यां चेमामहं दिव्यां प्रवृत्तामुत्तरायणे । देवीं रात्रि नमस्यामि सिध्यतां मे मनोरथ:,“उत्तरायणके दिन जो यह पुण्य एवं दिव्य रात्रि आ रही है, उसकी अधिष्ठात्री देवी रात्रिको मैं नमस्कार करती हूँ, मेरा मनोरथ सफल हो”

puṇyāṃ cemām ahaṃ divyāṃ pravṛttām uttarāyaṇe | devīṃ rātriṃ namasyāmi sidhyatāṃ me manorathaḥ ||

Pada Malam yang suci dan bercahaya ini, yang telah tiba dalam musim Uttarāyaṇa, aku menunduk menyembah Dewi Malam yang memerintahinya. Semoga hasrat dan tujuan di hatiku berhasil terlaksana.
