उद्योगपर्व (अध्याय १२९) — केशवस्य वैभवप्रदर्शनम् / Krishna’s Theophanic Display in the Kuru Assembly
दुर्ग्राह्माः पाणिना वायुर्दुःस्पर्श: पाणिना शशी । दुर्धरा पृथिवी मूर्ध्ना दु्ग्राह्मू: केशवो बलात्,“जैसे वायुको हाथसे पकड़ना दुष्कर है, चन्द्रमाको हाथसे छूना कठिन है और पृथ्वीको सिरपर धारण करना असम्भव है, उसी प्रकार भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको बलपूर्वक पकड़ना दुष्कर है”
durgrahmāḥ pāṇinā vāyur duḥsparśaḥ pāṇinā śaśī | durdharā pṛthivī mūrdhnā durgrahmuḥ keśavo balāt ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Sebagaimana angin tidak dapat digenggam dengan tangan, bulan tidak dapat benar-benar diraih dengan sentuhan, dan bumi tidak dapat dipikul di atas kepala, demikian juga Keśava (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) tidak dapat ditahan atau dikurung dengan kekerasan.”
