सिंहो नागानिव क्रुद्धो गमयेद्‌ यमसादनम्‌ । 'जैसे क्रोधमें भरा हुआ सिंह हाथियोंको नष्ट कर देता है, उसी प्रकार ये भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण यदि चाहें तो क़्रुद्ध होनेपर समस्त विपक्षी योद्धाओंको यमलोक पहुँचा सकते हैं

siṃho nāgān iva kruddho gamayed yamasādanam |

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Seperti singa yang mengamuk mampu menghalau gajah-gajah menuju maut, demikian juga—jika baginda menghendaki—Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, apabila dibangkitkan murka, berupaya menghantar semua pahlawan pihak lawan ke kediaman Yama.”
