अव्यक्त–प्रकृति–इन्द्रियविचारः

The Unmanifest, Prakṛtis, and the Sense-Complex

छित्त्वा5धर्ममयं पाशं यदा धर्मेडभिरज्यते । दत्त्वा3भयकृतं दानं तदा सिद्धिमवाप्लुते,जो मनुष्य जब अधर्ममय बन्धनका उच्छेद करके धर्ममें अनुरक्त हो जाता और सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको अभयदान कर देता है, उसे उसी समय उत्तम सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है

chittvā adharmamayaṁ pāśaṁ yadā dharme ’bhirajyate | dattvā abhayakṛtaṁ dānaṁ tadā siddhim avāpnute ||

Parāśara berkata: “Apabila seseorang memutuskan jerat yang terbuat daripada adharma lalu berbakti kepada dharma, dan apabila dia menganugerahkan ‘derma tanpa takut’ (anugerah keselamatan) kepada semua makhluk, maka pada saat itulah juga dia mencapai kesempurnaan rohani yang tertinggi.”
