Vasiṣṭha–Karāla-Janaka Saṃvāda: Aśuddha-Sevana, Guṇa-Dr̥ṣṭi, and Sāṃkhya–Yoga Ekārthatā
Mahābhārata 12.293
सद्धिस्तु सह संसर्ग: शोभते धर्मदर्शिशि: । नित्यं सर्वास्ववस्थासु नासद्धिरिति मे मति:
saddhiḥ tu saha saṁsargaḥ śobhate dharmadarśiṣi | nityaṁ sarvāsv avasthāsu nāsaddhir iti me matiḥ ||
Pergaulan dengan orang baik sahaja adalah wajar dan menjadi perhiasan bagi mereka yang benar-benar melihat dharma. Dalam apa jua keadaan dan pada setiap waktu, pergaulan dengan orang jahat tidak patut dipilih—itulah keyakinanku yang teguh.
