Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma

Educational Q&A

Recognize the impermanence of all cosmic realms, live steadily without grief or delusion, and aim for the imperishable, infinite reality—variously named by traditions but pointing to the highest liberation.

Bhīṣma instructs on the yogin’s outlook: seeing even the seven worlds as perishable, the yogin remains composed in embodied life and, at death, attains the supreme abode, which different schools describe as the highest divine realm or as Brahman itself.
