कुण्डधारोपाख्यानम्
Kuṇḍadhāra-Upākhyāna: Dharma’s Superiority over Wealth and Desire
सम्भावयन्ति पितरं त्वया सम्भाविता: खगा: । असंशयं पिता वै त्वं पुत्रानाहूय जाजले,ये पक्षी तुम्हारे द्वारा पालित और समादूत हुए हैं। अतः तुम्हारा पिताके समान सम्मान करते हैं। जाजले! इसमें संदेह नहीं कि तुम इनके पिता ही हो; अतः इन पुत्रोंको बुलाकर प्रश्न करो
sambhāvayanti pitaraṁ tvayā sambhāvitāḥ khagāḥ | asaṁśayaṁ pitā vai tvaṁ putrān āhūya jājale ||
Burung-burung itu, setelah dipelihara dan dimuliakan olehmu, kini memuliakanmu sebagai bapa mereka. Wahai Jājali, tiada keraguan: engkaulah benar-benar bapa mereka. Maka panggillah anak-anak ini dan tanyakanlah kepada mereka.
