Guru’s Instruction on Dream, Mind, Guṇas, and Knowing Brahman
Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra
तेन संनादशब्देन लोकानां क्षोभ आगमत् | संत्रस्ताश्न भृशं लोके देवा: शक्रपुरोगमा:,उस भीषण गर्जनासे समस्त लोकोंमें हलचल मच गयी। स्वर्गलोकमें इन्द्र आदि देवता भी अत्यन्त भयभीत हो उठे
tena saṃnādaśabdena lokānāṃ kṣobha āgamat | saṃtrastāś ca bhṛśaṃ loke devāḥ śakrapurogamāḥ ||
Bhishma berkata: “Dengan bunyi gemuruh yang bergema itu, kegoncangan besar melanda seluruh alam. Bahkan para dewa—dipimpin oleh Śakra (Indra)—turut diselubungi ketakutan yang amat sangat.”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights that overwhelming manifestations of power can disturb not only individuals but the very order of the worlds; it implicitly cautions that actions producing such upheaval have wide-reaching moral and cosmic consequences.
A terrifying, thunder-like roar resounds, causing turmoil across the worlds; even the gods, with Indra at their head, become deeply frightened by the magnitude of the sound and its ominous implication.
