Pacification of Gāndhārī and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel at Hāstinapura
Even after justified victory in war, one should seek calm and moral re-centering; the choice of a sacred riverbank suggests purification, restraint, and reflection rather than triumphalism.
Yudhiṣṭhira reports that the Pāṇḍavas reached the holy river Oghavatī and spent the night there on its bank, marking a pause in their journey amid the post-battle events of Śalya Parva.
