बदरपाचन-तीर्थमाहात्म्यम् | Badarapācana Tīrtha Māhātmya

अभिषिच्य ततो देवा वरुणं यादसां पतिम्‌

abhiṣicya tato devā varuṇaṃ yādasāṃ patim

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Sesudah itu para dewa melaksanakan upacara pentahbisan dan menobatkan Varuṇa—tuan segala makhluk air—sebagai penguasa atas perairan. Tindakan ini menegaskan prinsip dharma tentang tertib kosmik: kewibawaan disahkan melalui ritual dan diberikan menurut fungsi, agar wilayah-wilayah dunia tetap terurus dan seimbang.
