धृष्टय्युम्नं पुरस्कृत्य पुनस्तस्थी महाबल: । सत्यपराक्रमी महाबली भीमसेन उस पैदल-सेनाका संहार करके धृष्टद्युम्मनको आगे किये पुनः युद्धके लिये डट गये

Transliteration

dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ puraskṛtya punas tasthau mahābalaḥ | satyaparākramaḥ mahābalī bhīmasenaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Dengan meletakkan Dhṛṣṭadyumna di hadapan, Bhīmasena yang perkasa—yang keberaniannya tidak pernah terbukti palsu—berdiri teguh sekali lagi, siap untuk bertempur, setelah memusnahkan pasukan infantri itu. Rangkap ini menonjolkan keteguhan hati dan kepimpinan strategi di tengah kerasnya tuntutan perang.
