पजञ्चविंशतिसाहस्रांस्तावकानां व्यपोथयत् | उस समय भीमसेन रणभूमिमें बाजकी तरह विचर रहे थे। उन्होंने तलवार और गदाके द्वारा आपके उन पचीस हजार योद्धाओंको मार गिराया
pañcaviṁśatisāhasrāṁs tāvakānāṁ vyapothayat |
Sañjaya berkata: Bhīmasena menumbangkan dua puluh lima ribu pahlawan tuanku. Bahkan ketika itu, dia merentas medan perang seperti helang, menetak dan menghancurkan dengan pedang dan gada—gambaran keperkasaan yang tidak mengenal henti di tengah ngeri peperangan.
