संजय उवाच तवेदं स्वकृतं राजन् महद् वैरमुपस्थितम् । विनाशो येन लोकस्य सानुबन्धो भविष्यति
sañjaya uvāca: tavedaṃ svakṛtaṃ rājan mahad vairaṃ upasthitam | vināśo yena lokasya sānubandho bhaviṣyati ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai raja, permusuhan besar yang kini berdiri di hadapan tuanku ini adalah hasil perbuatan tuanku sendiri. Kerananya, kebinasaan dunia—berserta segala ikatan dan mereka yang bergantung—akan terjadi.
