नरकं पातिता: पार्था दीर्घकालमनन्तकम् | सुखाच्च हीना राज्याच्च विनष्टा: शाश्वती: समा:
narakaṁ pātitāḥ pārthā dīrghakālam anantakam | sukhāc ca hīnā rājyaāc ca vinaṣṭāḥ śāśvatīḥ samāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Para Pārtha telah dicampakkan ke neraka—kesengsaraan yang tiada berpenghujung—untuk waktu yang amat panjang. Dirampas kebahagiaan dan dilucutkan kerajaannya, mereka binasa untuk tahun-tahun yang tidak terbilang.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
