Indra’s Radiant Assembly Hall
The verse emphasizes reliable testimony and discernment: Nārada distinguishes what he has personally witnessed (Indra’s court) and then transitions to another authoritative description (Yama’s court), reinforcing the Mahābhārata’s concern with cosmic governance under dharma.
Nārada is recounting the splendor of divine assembly halls. Having described and affirmed that he has seen Indra’s lotus-adorned sabhā, he invites the king to hear next about Yama’s sabhā, continuing a sequence of descriptions of celestial courts.
