Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)

अनवद्या हसम्बुद्धा: प्रविष्टा: शत्रुसझ तत्‌ । शत्रुदेहमुपाक्रम्य त॑ काम॑ प्राप्तुयामहे,यदि हम छिपे-छिपे शत्रुके घरतक पहुँच जायेँ तो यह हमारे लिये कोई निन्दाकी बात नहीं होगी। फिर हम शत्रुके शरीरपर आक्रमण करके अपना काम बना लेंगे

anavadyāḥ saṁbuddhāḥ praviṣṭāḥ śatrusaṅghaṁ tat | śatrudeham upākramya taṁ kāmaṁ prāptuyāmahe ||

Vāyu berkata: “Jika kami sentiasa berjaga-jaga dan niat kami tidak tercela, lalu menyusup masuk ke dalam pasukan musuh secara senyap, itu bukanlah perkara yang patut dicela. Kemudian, dengan menyerang tubuh musuh sendiri, kami akan mencapai tujuan yang kami kehendaki.”
