पूर्णणाकाशमभवद्ू रुक्मपुड्खैरजिद्दागै: । “उनके धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाण शत्रुओंकी कायाको विदीर्ण कर देनेवाले थे, उनमें सोनेके पंख लगे थे और वे लक्ष्यकी ओर सीधे पहुँचते थे। उन बाणोंसे सम्पूर्ण आकाश भर गया
pūrṇam ākāśam abhavad rukmapuṅkhair ajiddāgaiḥ |
Sañjaya berkata: Seluruh langit dipenuhi anak panah—luncur lurus, bersayap bulu emas—yang terlepas dari busurnya, mampu mengoyak tubuh musuh. Pemandangan itu menandakan kedahsyatan pertempuran yang melimpah, ketika kemahiran perang dan daya yang tidak mengenal henti menguasai medan.
