परेषां कदनं कृत्वा महारथविशारद: । परिवार्य महामात्रै: षड़भि: परमकै रथै:

Transliteration

pareṣāṁ kadanaṁ kṛtvā mahārathaviśāradaḥ | parivārya mahāmātraiḥ ṣaḍbhiḥ paramakai rathaiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Setelah melakukan pembantaian besar terhadap pihak musuh, mahir dalam kalangan para maharathi itu bergerak ke sana sini, dikelilingi oleh enam panglima terkemuka di atas kereta perang terbaik mereka—suatu gambaran keperkasaan medan laga dan momentum perang yang muram serta ganas.
