Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement
वैवस्वताद् दण्डहस्ताद्वरुणाद् वापि पाशिन: । सगदाद् वा धनपते: सवज़ाद् वापि वासवात्
vaivasvatād daṇḍahastād varuṇād vāpi pāśinaḥ | sagadād vā dhanapateḥ savajrād vāpi vāsavāt, saha yuddha hi me tābhyāṃ sāmparāye bhaviṣyati |
Sañjaya berkata: “Aku tidak takut akan Yama, putera Vivasvat, yang memegang tongkat hukuman; tidak takut akan Varuṇa dengan jeratnya; tidak takut akan Kubera, tuan kekayaan, yang menggenggam gada; tidak takut akan Vāsava (Indra) dengan vajranya—dan tidak juga kepada mana-mana musuh yang ganas. Ketahuilah ini baik-baik: maka aku pun tidak gentar akan Arjuna dan Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Dalam pertembungan terakhir, pertempuranku dengan mereka berdua pasti akan terjadi.”
