कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
संयच्छामि हयानेष युध्यतो वै कपर्दिन: । पितामह बोले--देवताओ! तुमने जो कुछ कहा है, उसमें तनिक भी मिथ्या नहीं है। मैं युद्ध करते समय भगवान् शंकरके घोड़ोंको काबूमें रखूँगा
saṁyacchāmi hayān eṣa yudhyato vai kapardinaḥ |
Bhīṣma berkata: “Wahai para dewa, tiada sedikit pun kepalsuan dalam apa yang kamu katakan. Ketika Kapardin (Śiva) bertempur, aku akan mengekang kuda-kuda ini.”
