द्रोणानीक-व्यतिक्रमः — Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Break Through Droṇa’s Array
तैर्यतद्धिरियं सत्या श्रुता सत्यवतस्तव । प्रतिज्ञा सिन्धुराजस्य वधे राजीवलोचन,“कमलनयन! युद्धके लिये तैयार होते-होते उन कौरवोंने सदा सत्य बोलनेवाले तुम्हारी जयद्रथ-वधविषयक वह सच्ची प्रतिज्ञा सुनी
sañjaya uvāca |
tair yataddhir iyaṃ satyā śrutā satyavatas tava |
pratijñā sindhurājasya vadhe rājīvalocana ||
Wahai yang bermata teratai, ketika mereka sedang bersiap, mereka mendengar sumpahmu yang benar—sesuai dengan tabiatmu yang sentiasa berpegang pada kebenaran—tentang pembunuhan raja Sindhu (Jayadratha).
