Droṇa and Sātyaki: The Chariot Duel
ततोडर्जुनो वच:ः श्रुत्वा धर्मराजेन भाषितम्
tato 'rjuno vacaḥ śrutvā dharmarājena bhāṣitam
Kemudian Arjuna, setelah mendengar kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira), menjawab di tengah krisis perang yang sedang memuncak—tatkala niat yang benar masih harus ditimbang terhadap keperluan keras medan tempur dan beban kepemimpinan.
युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights attentive listening to righteous counsel: Arjuna’s next action is framed as a response to Dharmarāja’s speech, underscoring that even in war, decisions should proceed from hearing and weighing dharmic guidance.
