सम्प्रहारमकुर्वस्ते सर्वे च सुमहारथा: । अमर्षिता: सत्त्ववन्त: कृत्वा मरणमग्रत:,उस समय अमर्षसे भरे हुए उन सभी धैर्यशाली महारथियोंने मृत्युको सामने रखकर परस्पर युद्ध आरम्भ कर दिया
samprahāram akurvanta te sarve ca sumahārathāḥ | amarṣitāḥ sattvavantaḥ kṛtvā maraṇam agrataḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Pada ketika itu, semua pahlawan kereta perang yang agung—dipenuhi amarah yang menyala dan teguh dalam keberanian—memulakan serangan balas-membalas, seolah-olah meletakkan maut di hadapan sebagai harga tekad mereka.
