आर्य! किरीटधारी अर्जुनको आते देख पुरुषसिंह संशप्तक हर्षपूर्वक बड़े जोर-जोरसे गर्जना करने लगे ।। स शब्द: प्रदिश: सर्वा दिश: खं च समावृणोत् । आवृतत्वाच्च लोकस्य नासीतू तत्र प्रतिस्वन:
sa śabdaḥ pradiśaḥ sarvā diśaḥ khaṃ ca samāvṛṇot | āvṛtatvāc ca lokasya nāsīt tatra pratisvanaḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Ketika para Saṃsaptaka yang gagah bak singa melihat Arjuna, si pemakai diadema, menghampiri, mereka mengaum berkali-kali dengan penuh kegirangan. Deru yang menggelegar itu memenuhi segala penjuru dan bahkan langit; dan kerana seolah-olah seluruh dunia diselubungi olehnya, tiada gema atau bunyi balas lain kedengaran di sana.
