Rātri-yuddhe Droṇasya prahāraḥ — Bhīmasenasya dhārtarāṣṭra-śūrānām nigrahaḥ

ततः पार्थों महानादं मुज्चन् वै माधवश्च ह । अभ्ययातां महाराज नर्दन्तौ गोवृषाविव,महाराज! गरजते हुए दो साँड़ोंके समान अर्जुन और श्रीकृष्ण महान् सिंहनाद करते हुए आगे बढ़ने लगे
tataḥ pārtho mahānādaṃ muñcan vai mādhavaś ca ha | abhyayātāṃ mahārāja nardantau govṛṣāv iva ||
Sañjaya berkata: Kemudian, wahai Raja, Pārtha (Arjuna) melepaskan laungan yang dahsyat, dan Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) juga; kedua-duanya mara ke hadapan, mengaum seperti dua ekor lembu jantan yang perkasa.
