Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
पतितं चैनमालोक्य समन्ताद् भरतस्त्रिय: । परिवव्रुर्महाराजमस्पृशंश्वैव पाणिभि:,महाराजको गिरा देख धृतराष्ट्रकी बहुत-सी स्त्रियाँ उन्हें चारों ओरसे घेरकर बैठ गयीं और उन्हें हाथोंसे सहलाने लगीं
patitaṃ cainam ālokya samantād bharata-striyaḥ | parivavrur mahārājam aspṛśaṃś caiva pāṇibhiḥ ||
Melihat baginda rebah, para wanita keturunan Bharata datang berkumpul dari segenap arah. Mereka mengelilingi raja dan menyentuh serta mengusapnya dengan lembut menggunakan tangan mereka.
