The verse highlights the disciplined order of war—each fighter stands in the assigned place after the formation is set—while the collective lion-roar expresses courage and resolve. Ethically, it frames the coming violence as an organized, publicly owned act with grave consequences, not a private outburst.
After the armies complete their tactical deployment (vyūha), the chariot-warriors and cavalry take their positions and shout a lion-like battle cry, signaling that the forces are ready to engage.
