भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
तेनावध्या रणे पार्था जययुक्ताश्च पार्थिव । तव पुत्रा दुरात्मान: पापेष्वभिरता: सदा
tenāvadhyā raṇe pārthā jayayuktāś ca pārthiva | tava putrā durātmānaḥ pāpeṣv abhiratāḥ sadā ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Maka sebab itulah, wahai raja, putera-putera Pṛthā (para Pāṇḍava) tidak dapat ditundukkan di medan perang dan teguh berpihak kepada kemenangan. Tetapi putera-putera tuanku berhati jahat, sentiasa bersuka dalam jalan dosa.”
