Daiva–Puruṣakāra Discourse and the Elephant-Corps Engagement (भीमगजानीक-सम्भ्रान्ति)
सम्पूज्यमान: पाज्चाल्यैर्मत्स्यैश्न भरतर्षभ । धृष्टद्युम्नं परिष्वज्य समेयादथ सात्यकिम्,भरतश्रेष्ठ! वहाँ पांचालों तथा मत्स्यदेशीय नरेशोंसे पूजित हो भीमसेन धृष्टद्युम्न और सात्यकिको भुजाओंमें भरकर दोनोंसे प्रसन्नतापूर्वक मिले
sampūjyamānaḥ pāñcālyair matsyaiś ca bharatarṣabha | dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ pariṣvajya sameyād atha sātyakim ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai banteng kaum Bharata, setelah dihormati oleh orang Pāñcāla dan Matsya, Bhīmasena memeluk Dṛṣṭadyumna lalu pergi bertemu Sātyaki juga.
