अक्षरब्रह्मयोगः | Akṣara-Brahma-Yoga

The Yoga of the Imperishable Brahman

अथवा वैराग्यवान्‌ पुरुष उन लोकोंमें न जाकर ज्ञानवान्‌ योगियोंके ही कुलमें जन्म लेता है; परंतु इस प्रकारका जो यह जन्म है सो संसारमें नि:संदेह अत्यन्त दुर्लभ हैः ।।

tatra taṃ buddhi-saṃyogaṃ labhate paurva-dehikam | yatate ca tato bhūyaḥ saṃsiddhau kuru-nandana ||

Atau, seorang yang berjiwa vairagya tidak pergi ke alam-alam itu, sebaliknya lahir dalam keturunan para yogin yang berpengetahuan; dan kelahiran seperti ini di dunia memang amat jarang. Di sana dia memperoleh kembali, tanpa susah payah, penyatuan dengan kebijaksanaan yang teguh yang telah dihimpun dalam tubuh terdahulu—yakni kesan (saṃskāra) yoga berupa keseimbangan budi. Dan sejak itu, wahai kegembiraan kaum Kuru, dia berusaha lebih kuat daripada sebelumnya menuju kesempurnaan rohani yang tuntas, iaitu pencapaian Yang Tertinggi.
