Karma-Saṃnyāsa–Karma-Yoga Saṃvāda
Renunciation and the Discipline of Action
सम्बन्ध-- यहॉँतक भगवान्ने बहुत-से हेतु बतलाकर यह बात सिद्ध की कि जबतक मनुष्यको परम श्रेयरूप परमात्माकी प्राप्ति न हो जाय
tasmād asaktaḥ satataṁ kāryaṁ karma samācara | asakto hy ācaran karma param āpnoti pūruṣaḥ ||
Maka, hendaklah engkau sentiasa tanpa keterikatan dan lakukanlah dengan baik pekerjaan yang wajib dilakukan. Kerana orang yang berbuat tanpa keterikatan akan mencapai Yang Maha Tinggi.
अजुन उवाच
One should continuously perform one’s obligatory duty with inner non-attachment to outcomes; such selfless, disciplined action (karma-yoga) purifies the mind and becomes a means to attain the Supreme rather than creating bondage.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra crisis, the instruction addresses Arjuna’s hesitation by directing him to act according to his duty while relinquishing personal craving for results—framing battle-bound action as ethical responsibility and spiritual practice when done without attachment.
