tasya jyātalanirghoṣaṁ visphūrjitam ivāśaneḥ | vitresuḥ sarvabhūtāni sarve śrutvā ca pārthivāḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Dentuman tali busurnya bergema seperti raungan halilintar. Mendengarnya, segala makhluk bergetar ketakutan, dan para raja pun turut gementar—suatu alamat akan dahsyatnya kekuatan yang bakal dilepaskan di medan perang.
