भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः

Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma

वक्तुमर्हति सत्यं स त्वया पृष्टो विशेषत: । ते वयं तत्र गच्छाम: प्रष्टं कुरपितामहम्‌

sañjaya uvāca | vaktum arhati satyaṃ sa tvayā pṛṣṭo viśeṣataḥ | te vayaṃ tatra gacchāmaḥ praṣṭuṃ kuru-pitāmaham ||

Sañjaya berkata: “Apabila engkau sendiri yang bertanya, khususnya, dia memang layak menyatakan kebenaran. Maka marilah kita semua pergi ke sana bersama-sama untuk menyoal datuk agung kaum Kuru. Ayuh, wahai Bharata—mari kita mendekati Bhīṣma, putera Śāntanu, dan memohon nasihat yang benar-benar bermanfaat; dia akan memberikan panduan kepadamu agar kita dapat berhadapan dengan musuh dalam peperangan.”
