यज्ञवाटवैभववर्णनम् / Description of the Splendour of the Sacrificial Enclosure
स ताभ्यां पुरुषव्याप्रो नित्यमध्वसु वर्तते । न चान्यदनुपश्यामि येनासौ दुःखभाजनम्,“उन मोटी फिल्लियोंके कारण ही पुरुषसिंह अर्जुनको सदा रास्ता चलना पड़ता है। और कोई कारण मुझे नहीं दिखायी देता, जिससे उन्हें दुःख झेलना पड़े"
sa tābhyāṃ puruṣavyāpro nityam adhvasu vartate | na cānyad anupaśyāmi yenāsau duḥkhabhājanam ||
«Kerana kedua-duanya itu, sang singa di antara manusia—Arjuna—terpaksa sentiasa berada di jalanan. Selain itu, beta tidak melihat sebab lain yang menjadikannya wadah penderitaan.»
