उत्तिष्ठ पश्य वदनं लोकनाथस्य धीमत: । पुण्डरीकपलाशारक्ष पुरेव चपलेक्षणम्,“बेटा! उठकर खड़ा हो जा और बुद्धिमान् जगदीश्वर श्रीकृष्णके कमलदलके समान नेत्रोंवाले मुखारविन्दकी शोभा निहार, ठीक उसी तरह जैसे पहले मैं चंचल नेत्रोंवाले तेरे पिताका मुँह निहारा करती थी”
uttiṣṭha paśya vadanaṁ lokanāthasya dhīmataḥ | puṇḍarīka-palāśārkṣaṁ pureva capalekṣaṇam ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Bangunlah dan pandanglah wajah Tuhan alam, yang bijaksana—Śrī Kṛṣṇa—bermata laksana kelopak teratai dan berwajah berseri. Tataplah seperti dahulu aku menatap wajah ayahmu dengan mata yang gelisah.”
