Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktaḥ sa tadā rājñā kṣamaṁ buddhimatā hitam | anujñāpya sa rājānam ahalyāṁ pratijagmivān ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah ditegur demikian, dan setelah mendengar daripada raja yang bijaksana kata-kata yang wajar lagi bermanfaat, sang resi Uttaṅka memohon izin raja lalu berangkat semula menuju Ahalyā.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
One should accept fitting and beneficial counsel from the wise, and act with propriety—especially by seeking and receiving due permission before departing or undertaking the next step.
After hearing the wise king’s appropriate and welfare-oriented words, Uttaṅka formally takes the king’s leave and proceeds toward Ahalyā, marking a transition to the next scene of the episode.
