Uttanka’s Guru-Śuśrūṣā and the Commission to Retrieve the Maṇikuṇḍalas
yadi tv anugrahaṁ kañcit tvatto ’ham i janārdana | draṣṭum icchāmi te rūpam aiśvaraṁ tan nidarśaya janārdana ||
“Jika aku layak menerima sebarang kurnia daripadamu, wahai Janārdana, maka aku ingin menyaksikan rupa ketuhananmu yang berdaulat. Perlihatkanlah rupa itu kepadaku, wahai Janārdana.”
उत्तडुक उवाच
The verse frames divine revelation as a matter of grace (anugraha) rather than entitlement: the seeker approaches with humility and a focused desire for direct spiritual insight (darśana) of the Lord’s aiśvarya (sovereign divinity).
Uttanka addresses Kṛṣṇa as Janārdana and petitions him for a boon: to be shown Kṛṣṇa’s aiśvara (divine, lordly) form, expressing an intense wish to witness it directly.
