Adhyāya 40: Brahmā on Mahān (The Great Principle) and the All-Pervading Puruṣa
महाप्रभाव: पुरुष: सर्वस्य हृदि निश्चित: । अणिमा लघिमा प्राप्तिरीशानो ज्योतिरव्यय:
mahāprabhāvaḥ puruṣaḥ sarvasya hṛdi niścitaḥ | aṇimā laghimā prāptir īśāno jyotir avyayaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva berkata: “Purusha Tertinggi, dengan keagungan yang tiada terukur, teguh bersemayam di dalam hati setiap makhluk. Kuasa seperti aṇimā (menjadi amat halus), laghimā (menjadi ringan), dan prāpti (mencapai segala sesuatu) timbul daripada-Nya. Dialah Tuhan Yang Berdaulat atas semuanya, bercahaya dengan sendirinya, dan tidak binasa.”
