Mokṣa-dharma Yoga-Upadeśa: Equanimity, Sense-Restraint, and Vision of the Ātman (आत्मदर्शन-योगोपदेशः)

परा हि सा गति: पार्थ यत्‌ तद्‌ ब्रह्म सनातनम्‌ | यत्रामृतत्व॑ प्राप्रोति त्यक्त्वा देह सदा सुखी,पार्थ! जो सनातन ब्रह्म है, वही जीवकी परम-गति है। ज्ञानी मनुष्य देहको त्यागकर उस ब्रह्ममें ही अमृतत्त्वको प्राप्त होता है और सदाके लिये सुखी हो जाता है

parā hi sā gatiḥ pārtha yat tad brahma sanātanam | yatrāmṛtatvaṁ prāpnoti tyaktvā dehaṁ sadā sukhī ||

Wahai Pārtha, itulah benar-benar matlamat tertinggi—yakni Brahman yang kekal abadi. Setelah menanggalkan jasad, orang yang berpengetahuan mencapai keabadian dalam Brahman itu dan menjadi bahagia untuk selama-lamanya.
