Educational Q&A

The verse affirms the ethical stance of accepting what has unfolded as inevitable (bhāvyam) while validating a sincere, dharmic assessment of events—an encouragement toward clear-eyed acceptance rather than resentment.

After someone has spoken (contextually, Kuntī in this episode), the narrator reports that the sage Vyāsa responds, praising the statement as correct and confirming that events have occurred according to what was destined.
